Millennials

The idea of this new technology generation resonates with me. I notice that I am that student that often is multitasking in class but I still understand almost all of what is being said. I also know that when I am in class and the professor says something that interests me I often write it down and then type it into google to find out more information on it. I have even done that in the middle of class before. It is really important as teachers to understand the culture in which our students are living and if they are living in a technology culture there is no need to buck against that and use traditional methods of teaching. Reach the kids where they are.
